Not all oils are created equal! We only use premium avocado and coconut oil to cook our chips. These better-for-you fats come directly from nature and have been used by humans for thousands of years. We have never used cheap seed oils—like canola and sunflower —or poly-unsaturated fats (PUFAs) because we know healthier oils make better snacks, while bringing out the best flavor and texture from our non-GMO sweet potatoes and non-GMO potatoes.

All of our chips are cooked low and slow, maintaining the stability and integrity of the oil’s healthy fats. Avocado and coconut oil are well known to provide a wealth of health benefits, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. We think of them as our healthy Heroes! Our founders discovered these oils helped reduce inflammation for their son, Jackson. Their journey led to creating Jackson's.
